Although this village experienced its greatest population book between 1920 and 1928, Elmwood Park has gracefully adapted to present-day standards. This community of 25,400 features a civic center called the Recreation Building, a recently renovated public library, and a family aquatic center – Elmwood Park's first-ever swimming facility. In recent years, Elmwood Park also established a sister city relationship with Fresinone, Italy. Fresinone is located in the Region of Lazio, approximately 40 miles outside the city of Rome.
