Kewanee, Illinois is strategically located an equal distance between the Quad Cities and Peoria, IL. Kewanee is a melting pot of many ethnicities with a population of over 12,000. It offers a quality of life that not only those in the Midwest, but visitors can appreciate. It is the home of not only 2 public school systems, but houses Black Hawk College-East Campus.

Kewanee, IL has the Quad City International Airport within a 45 minute drive of the city and an Amtrak train station right in the city limits.

Kewanee claims to be the "Hog Capital of the World" and celebrates with a parade and a variety of great pork products at its annual fest held over Labor Day weekend. The city also is home to Good's Furniture which covers at least 4 city blocks in the downtown area and also houses a very nice Wine Cellar Restaurant and a Bed & Breakfast.
