Goshen is considered the center of the Northern Indiana Amish Country and takes pride in its local Amish heritage. Horse-drawn buggies can be seen trotting down the streets and passersby will take note of the well-groomed Amish homesteads and farmlands. Amish shops and restaurants draw tourists from across the nation.
In the historic downtown, there are quaint little shops, boutiques and cafés. The Old Bag Factory, for example, consists of several unique shops that sell creative gifts and items. In addition to this, magnificent architecture exists in the Victorian-style homes and 20th-century buildings.
