About Rising Sun, IN

Rising Sun, Indiana has been known as the home for many industries, inventions, and innovations. Since early on, industries have made their home here and have produced steamboats, electric equipment, and gaming machines. The history of the latter has led to Rising Sun being a popular tourist spot because of its Riverboat casinos. If the roll of the dice isn't music to your ears, Rising Sun also has one of the most popular artist communities in the entire state. Many artists here have their own stores, selling their specially made goods.

Though new homes do exist, most of the homes in Rising Sun, Indiana are older. Many residents love the feel of living in a home nearly 200 years old and are constantly restoring them, making sure it still maintains its original flavor. These older homes vary in sizes from your typical single-family house to historic mansions overlooking the entire city.
