Schools in Jacksonville, FL

The right school can make an extraordinary difference in your child’s academic performance, sense of well being and, ultimately, their success in life. Today there are excellent public (and private) schools throughout Northwest Florida. In 2008, in Clay County’s 33 schools there were 25 “A”, 5 “B” and only 3 “C” schools. Nassau County School District which is classified as an “A” district was honored for achieving SACS CASI District Accreditation. St. Johns Country School District can brag that its FCAT reading scores came in third in the entire state in the number of their third graders that scored at Level Two or higher. Its eighth graders tied for the best in reading and second highest in math in the state.
