Jacksonville, North Carolina was designated the “All American City” in 1992 by the National Civic League which indicates that it is a very desirable city in which to live and work. This once quiet farming community has become the commercial hub of Onslow County and is the business, retail, medical and banking center of Onslow County. It has a population of 72,254 with more coming every day.

It is also the home of the 2nd marine Division and the largest Marine Amphibious base in the world. Approximately 50,000marines and sailors are stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. This lends economic stability to the area and a delightful cultural exchange in one community.

Jacksonville is located in Onslow County which sits on the mouth of the New River which is 40 miles long and 4-5 miles wide and is a direct route to the Atlantic Ocean for all the people that enjoy boating on the open sea.

The Real Estate market is thriving with few foreclosures and desirable home plentiful with new subdivisions springing up all the time. Compared to many areas in the Unite States, the homes are relatively inexpensive and offer every comfort on large, landscape lots convenient to recreation areas, medical facilities, shopping centers and military bases.
