Located on the Rock River, the city of Janesville, WI is known as “Wisconsin’s Park Place.” There are more than 2,300 acres of parkland as well as the Rotary Botanical Gardens, over 25 miles of biking trails, two golf courses, playground, tennis courts, several ball field, and convenient boat launches. Other attractions in Janesville include The Armory Dinner Theater, Janesville Performing Arts Center, the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center, The Lincoln Tallman House, as well as local sports teams like the Snappers baseball club, the Janesville Jets Hockey Team, and the National Water Ski Champions -- the Rock Aqua Jays. With a population of about 61,000, Janesville boasts economic achievement as well as a strong industrial background which has made this city a hub for commercial success along the state-line.
