Kennedy, Edward Kennedy, President Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush and Clinton and more recent US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and General David Petraeus.

Kansas State University plays a very large part in the community. It has a prestigious reputation of research, teaching and scholarships. Along with being part of the NCAA Division 1 Big 12 conference, KSU football with its dynamic legacy with coach Bill Snyder. Great baseball and fine basketball programs for men and women.
