Conveniently located 10 miles north of Lexington is Scott County. Georgetown, the county seat, is the home of widely-known Georgetown College. Georgetown, Kentucky offers fine antique shops and many historic homes. Driving through Scott County you may see an abundance of new homes as well as beautiful horse farms and Irish fieldstone fences. Georgetown is one of Kentucky's fastest growing communities and the American home of a major Toyota production facility.
