Welcome to London, KY

London, Kentucky is located in the heart of the state, close to an array of historic, scenic and family-friendly landmarks.

While some seek out the growing town’s nationally-renowned golf courses or pristine lakes, others enjoy the tranquility of a walk through Levi Jackson State Park, with its beautiful bounty of Kentucky flora and wildlife. The scenic mill, attractive campsites, and miniature golf course make it a favorite spot for local families and tourists alike.

The area has a balanced mix of traditional homes in established subdivisions, beautiful luxury estates on the town’s manicured golf courses, and large, park-like settings that lend themselves to privacy. Though many residents value the privacy of a wooded lot or bucolic setting, they are never far from the many dining and entertainment experiences the town offers.

Beautiful schools and education is a primary focus in London, Kentucky. From the sports activities to the academic teams, locals lend support and sponsorship.

London is located off of Interstate 75, 70 miles south of Lexington. The town’s easy access to major thoroughfares means travel to nearby areas of interest is easy.

Some area points of interest include Cumberland Falls State Park, the only place in the Western Hemisphere to witness a moonbow; and the original Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant, complete with a museum of the late Col. Sanders’s interesting beginnings. In honor of this interesting landmark, every September, London is home to the World Chicken Festival, an event that draws crowds of nearly 500,000 each year.
