Lafayette, Louisiana is the fastest growing city in the state. We are the “Hub” of an eight Parish (County) region which includes Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion Parishes.

Home to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), the university brings a rich mixture of researchers and scholars to the area, which keeps Lafayette on the forefront of academic and economic research and development. Lafayette is also home to the Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise, known as the LITE center. This center is a $20 million dollars facility which houses state-of –the art immersive visualization; the world’s largest 3D theater and one of the fastest supercomputers in the world.
Lafayette has a population of over 212,000 and is a major player in the worldwide oil and natural gas industry as well as manufacturing, agriculture, health care, restaurant, retail, tourism and real estate industries. Recently Lafayette initiated the Fiber Optic Network which delivers enhanced TV, Internet and Phone Service to the home.
