Living in Lakewood, CA

What began as a lima bean fields has emerged into a model planned community. The small, mass produced homes were sold initially to Korean & WW II vets who worked in the aerospace industry in Long Beach and Los Angeles. Noted for its wide tree-lined streets, it is a short commute to Los Angeles, the ocean in Long Beach and is very popular with young families.
