Hosting a population of approximately 91,586 citizens, Lee’s Summit views itself as a city with a small town feel. This city enjoys Mother Nature’s best with a full offering of all four bountiful seasons. The average temperature in July is approximately 87 degrees and in January a brisk 15 degrees.

Lee’s Summit is conveniently located close to three major recreational lakes. These three lakes total approximately 2,620 acres of water. Residents of Lee’s Summit enjoy water sports ranging from sailing regattas, skiing, wave boarding, pontooning and championship fishing. The lakes feature fully-equipped marinas, slips, boat rentals, picnic areas, camping grounds, sandy beaches, and historic sites.
