Welcome to Longboat Key, FLLongboat Key and its sister islands St. Armand’s, Lido & Bird Keys, serve as the northern barrier islands for the Sarasota area. Bordered to the west by the Gulf of Mexico and the east by Sarasota Bay, these islands are well known for their beautiful scenery, shopping and culture. Just a short drive over the Ringling Causeway leads directly into the heart of downtown Sarasota.

St Armand’s Circle, originally designed by circus magnate John Ringling as a shopping area for his wife and wealthy visitors, serves as the destination for anyone in search of boutique shopping, island cuisine and distinctive art stores. There is also a working confectionary where passers-by can watch candy being made and step inside the shop to sample the final product. Lido Key is known for its beautiful beaches, private beach resorts and beautiful waterfront condominiums. Bird Key is the southernmost of the islands and is comprised of a very private and luxurious enclave of waterfront properties.
