Sports and recreation are important to the area. Our home minor-league baseball team, the Lynchburg Hillcats, play regularly at the City Stadium. Join runners in the Virginia Ten Miler, ride your bicycle along the Blackwater Creek Trail, try skating at the LaHaye Ice Center or brave the new Snowflex attraction at LU!
