Mashpee, Massachusetts is without a doubt a Cape Cod gem. Mashpee consists of smooth rolling terrain, beautiful forests and five miles of beaches stretching along Nantucket and Vineyard Sounds. This city's small town atmosphere offers the ideal setting for a content lifestyle. In 1950, Mashpee had 439 residents and has developed into one of Massachusetts' most popular residential communities. Mashpee's Indian heritage is obvious in all places, as is the centuries old harvesting of cranberries from the town's many bogs. Some of the area's best championship golf courses are located in Mashpee and this city is also home to the famous Mashpee Commons.

Mashpee has an annual event called the Wampanoag Pow-Wow that draws visitors from across the nation. Additionally, the Cahoon Museum and Cape Cod Children's Museum hosts many events and Popponesset Marketplace is home to free concerts during the summer.

Homes in Mashpee, Massachusetts differ from a traditional Cape-style shingled home to a noble golf-front residence. Modern homes and condominiums can be found in Mashpee as well.
