Known for its protected harbor, beaches and lighthouses, Scituate, Massachusetts is a quintessential New England seaside community. Founded in 1636, Scituate has transformed from a summer haven to a pleasant year round residential community. It remains a summer destination for many in the local area and beyond. Scituate harbor supports an active fishing fleet of lobster boats, trawlers and charters as well as two yacht clubs.
