The largest city in Prince George’s County, Bowie was once the site of a modest railroad town. Today, it is home to roughly 51,000 Bowie real estate owners. As testament to its long history, however, many historic landmarks are still standing on Bowie real estate, including Belair Mansion, an estate dating back to the 1700s that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Add to this the city’s numerous golf courses, its proximity to the nation’s capital, and a minor league baseball team, and it’s easy to see why Bowie real estate is in such high demand.
