Welcome to Cambridge, MD

Cambridge is the seat of Dorchester County, one of nine counties that make up the Eastern Shore. Although the city itself is home to just 11,000 residents, Cambridge real estate owners enjoy the amenities offered by the surrounding county, which boasts 750 businesses, the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, and the 110-acre Cambridge-South Dorchester High School.

Because the city is nestled in the banks of the Chesapeake Bay of the Delmarva Peninsula, Cambridge real estate features impressive waterfront views and a charming maritime culture. A recent renovation of Cambridge’s downtown, led by the Main Street program, has infused the city with new life, evident in such community events as the Main Street Farmer’s Market, Second Saturday Art Openings, and the Taste of Cambridge. And the opening of Sailwinds Park, a performance venue, has brought such notable music acts as Trace Adkins and Leeann Womack to Cambridge in addition to playing host to the annual Delmarva Chicken Festival.
