Welcome to Salisbury, MD

Salisbury is the seat of Wicomico County and the largest city on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Consequently, the city is home to several major corporations, including Perdue Farms, Verizon, Pepsi Bottling of Delmarva, and Salisbury’s largest employer, Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Salisbury growing population is close to 25,000. The city’s youths are served by an impressive selection of public schools in addition to Salisbury University and Sojourner Douglass College, a private college established in 1972. As a result of these educational opportunities, many families choose to relocate to Salisbury. But there are many other reasons to consider investing in Salisbury real estate; the city boasts such attractions as the Salisbury University Arboretum and the Salisbury Zoo, as well as a wide variety of housing options ranging from historic Victorian, Georgian, and Federal homes to popular senior communities.
