Lexington Park is located in Saint Mary’s County about 60 miles southeast of the nation’s capital. The town’s largest employer is the nearby Patuxent Naval Air Test Center, which provides 20,000 jobs to county residents, but a number of other high-tech jobs can also be found nearby. This entices many job seekers to relocate to Lexington Park. Just as alluring is Lexington Park’s maritime atmosphere; this quaint town is just a short distance from the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay. As a result, the Lexington Park is one of the fastest growing towns in the already fast-growing region of Southern Maryland.
