Queen Anne’s County Historical Society operates Wright’s Chance, a 1744 plantation style home and Tucker House, a 1704 example of Federal Period architecture.

Late nineteenth century merchant, Captain John Ozman, used Centreville’s wharf to transport goods between Centreville, Baltimore and Norfolk. He built a waterfront store, lodge and four captain’s houses to accommodate the crews of his vessels. These homes were restored under the national register designation and remain on the hill overlooking Corsica Creek.
