About Ada, Michigan

Ada, Michigan is conveniently located 15 minutes due east of the city of Grand Rapids. This charming town is situated at the mouth of the Thornapple River flowing into the Grand. Ada is largely known for being the home of one of the areas largest employers: Alticor (formerly Amway Corporation). This former stage coach stop has grown into a flourishing suburb for upscale city workers who seek refuge in the beauty of Michigan's rolling countryside. Ada, Michigan has a wide range of housing options which include single family homes, beautiful condominiums, vacation homes and several other choices.

The community has a quaint downtown business district with small shops. It is located just minutes from Grand Rapids' largest malls. There are several things to do for recreation like fishing, golfing, horse back riding and more. There is also a YMCA and aquatic center in neighboring Cascade Township.
