Saline, Michigan, a city of about 9000, is located seven miles southwest of Ann Arbor and is the gateway to the Irish Hills, an exceptionally scenic portion of southeast Michigan along US-12. Saline has a strong agricultural heritage, and the area retains some of that flavor today.
