Historic Kirkwood, MO

Kirkwood, Missouri was established in 1853 and named for James Pugh Kirkwood (an engineer in charge of building the Missouri Pacific Railroad). The train depot, a national historic landmark is located in the heart of the city. Kirkwood’s commercial district is thriving. The Magic House museum offers hands-on fun. New condominiums are walking distance from city center. Kirkwood has a large municipal park and recreational complex offering ice skating, swimming, tennis, fitness and ball fields.
