Entertainment in Webster Groves, MOOne of the many perks of living in Webster Groves is the long list of attractions and amenities available to its residents throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area, including museums, art galleries, and athletic events with MLB’s St. Louis Cardinals, NFL’s St. Louis Rams, and NHL’s St. Louis Blues. Webster Groves itself offers great shopping and dining in both historic Old Orchard and Old Webster business districts, and the city is home to the Loretto-Hilton Theatre, which hosts a variety of productions from the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Also, the community-run Theater Guild of Webster Groves runs five productions a year, from September to May. For indoor/outdoor recreation, Webster Groves has an amazing amount of facilities, from public parks to the versatile Webster Groves Recreation Complex, featuring ball courts, a tennis center, an indoor ice arena, and even an outdoor aquatic center with a lazy river, water playground, and a diving/lap pool. Webster Groves residents are also within 7 miles of the largest urban park in the nation--St. Louis’ Forest Park, which offers 7.5 miles of biking, jogging and skating paths, a skating rink, and lakes.
