Along with Madison, Ridgeland, Brandon and Flowood, Clinton has one of the lowest crime rates in the Jackson-Metro area. The educational system is excellent and it is proud to be the home of the oldest institute of higher learning in Mississippi, Mississippi College (Baptist faith).
