Welcome to Manassas, VA

Located just 35 miles southwest of Washington D.C., the town of Manassas, Virginia is centrally location to I-66 and I-495, allowing residents easy access to major interstates for commuting needs. For those who prefer other means of transportation, the town’s rail system is a definite plus. A large number of Manassas residents choose to utilize this luxury, riding both the regular and commuter lines. With more people deciding to make the move to Manassas, current property values have seen a significant increase in recent years.

The city website dedicates a special section to new residents and property owners. Outlining various land use and planning guidelines, public works operations and neighborhood and family services, the city council places a heavy emphasis on acquainting newcomers.

Manassas is also very accommodating to its resident’s interests and hobbies as well. Golf courses, marinas, bike trails and nature walks give the outdoor lover a number of things to keep busy with. There is also an eclectic assortment of museums, art galleries, restaurants and a blend of old and new shopping arenas throughout the city.

Lush rolling hills and vast forests give this town a rustic feel while modern means of transportation and an organized city government are present, Manassas possesses the perfect balance of rural, small town characteristics and modern, suburban qualities.
