Battery Park City & TriBeCa Battery Park City Battery Park City is located on the southern tip of Manhattan, and has several buildings, parks and recreational areas. It was an addition to the island of Manhattan completed in 1976 and is comprised of landfill created by the construction of the World Trade Center. The priority of open space in its design is obvious in the wide avenues, squares and numerous parks. Hudson River Park is one of the city's favorites with the gorgeous water views. Battery Park City offers many full – service modern buildings, which makes this the perfect area for many busy Wall Street executives. This quiet and self-contained neighborhood has a suburban feel to it and is one of Manhattan's newest neighborhoods.
TriBeCa TriBeCa, or the Triangle Below Canal, is located on the lower west side of Manhattan and is home to world class restaurants, art galleries and some of the most elegant residential lofts. Referred to as the East Coast Hollywood and well known for the annual Tribeca Film Festival, this neighborhood has a fantastic mix of families, professionals, and movie stars. Although TriBeCa is closely related to SoHo, its calm streets and sense of community hold a distinctive charm all their own.
