Metamora, Indiana is a popular tourist destination for people interested in arts and crafts. The town still prides itself on its wooden aqueduct which brought fame to this town early on. Horse drawn canal boats and watching grain being ground at the still functioning gristmill, are some things that Metamora's residents and visitors can enjoy. Local shops still keep the original storefronts of their ancestors and a decommissioned railroad train still gets visitors on a daily basis. For those who wish to live in a place with a strong sense of community, Metamora also offers year-round festivals, fairs and parades that bring everyone out to the streets. Living in Metamora, Indiana is a wonderful experience with so many terrific traditional family homes located here, on such spectacular properties.
