Welcome to Monroe Township, New Jersey

Monroe Township is situated in the heart of the Garden State of New Jersey. Strategically located one hour from New York City and Philadelphia, Monroe Township is a twenty minute drive to both Princeton and New Brunswick and one hour to the New Jersey Shore. For those of you who wish to chance your luck, Atlantic City is less than one hour and forty-five minutes away.

Historically ranked number one or two in having the lowest real estate taxes in Middlesex County, Monroe Township encompasses 43+ square miles with homes ranging in price from $40,000 to $2,100,000 and includes varied housing for both the young and old. Forsgate Country Club, a former stop on the WPGA tour as well as golf courses located in the adult communities are available for membership. And for those younger families and active adult community residents, Monroe Township boasts excellent high school and recreation facilities for both young and old that are the envy of many communities.

With all the activity in Monroe Township, it still remains a “green” town with farms and roadside vegetable and fruit stands. It is not unusual to see deer on the side of the road or running in the fields. It is a great place to live for those in the twilight of their life or for children who can look into the night sky and see a full spectrum of stars.
