Moraga, California is one of three communities making up the Lamorinda area; Lafayette and Orinda are the other two. This slow growing town offers a country atmosphere within easy reach of city amenities and residents are committed to preserving the open space that makes Moraga such a desirable place to live.

Schools have some of the highest test scores in the area and many of the schools have been upgraded and improved due to the passage of recent bond measures. The town boasts a highly developed cultural community and is home to St. Mary's College, a small school with a strong reputation for academic excellence.

The panoramic Moraga Trail begins in the hills of Lafayette and ends at the Moraga Commons Park. This hiking, jogging, and dog walking trail is popular with residents as well as those from neighboring communities. Golf, tennis and swimming can be found at the Moraga Country Club.

Housing options in Moraga, California run from a diverse selection of single family homes including the gated Sanders Ranch development out to a large assortment of condominiums and townhouse projects. Moraga is located away from freeways and major commute arteries, and residents strongly desire to retain the semi rural charm of the area.
