The city of Mountain Brook, AL is located just outside the Birmingham-Hoover Metro area. The city incorporated in 1942 and its population remains strong at just over 20,000 people. Mountain Brook’s close proximity to Birmingham’s business district make it an ideal choice for professionals.

Estate sized lots grace the scenic roads that wind through the stately neighborhoods. English Village, Crestline Village and Mountain Brook Village provide fine dining opportunities to all its residents. Retail boutiques offer high end clothing and accessories, luxury home décor, premier jewelry stores, kitschy treasures, old fashioned toy and hobby shops, and even homemade milkshakes. Commercial buildings cannot rise higher than the tree line and walking paths and sidewalks line the streets giving each village a lush “story book” appearance.

Mountain Brook’s top rated schools consistently remain at the “top of the class” with various awards and recognition for the outstanding academic performances of its students each year. Schools offer a wide variety of academic study and sports including golf, lacrosse, wrestling, and tennis to name a few.

The city is also home to the Botanical Gardens and the Birmingham Zoo which attracts over 500,000 visitors annually.
