About Mountain View, California

Mountain View, California is located in Santa Clara County and is one of the cities that make up Silicon Valley. Microsoft, Google and even NASA all have important bases here. Unlike many of the surrounding communities, Mountain View is comparatively large with over 70,000 inhabitants. Because of the vast number of people living here, it has thirteen public schools, eight private schools and plenty of plazas and shopping areas for shopping lovers.

Mountain View gets its name from the views of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Stevens Creek, Shoreline Park and it's proximity to the Santa Cruz Mountains give this city a distinct look. One of the highlights Mountain View might offer for the prospective buyer is that it is the first city to be entirely covered by free wireless Internet provided by Google. Neighborhood parks, recreational facilities, excellent education, and convenient shopping make Mountain View, California a most attractive place to live.
