Greenville is located in Eastern North Carolina approximately 85 miles west of the Crystal Coast and 85 miles east of Raleigh, our state’s capital. Our city of 80,000 enjoys a warm climate, a small-town feel, and a growing economy.

Located in the heart of Greenville is East Carolina University, a doctoral-research institution with enrollment of nearly 28,000, which includes the Brody School of Medicine. We are also home of The East Carolina Heart Institute, whose physicians have received international acclaim for advances in robotic-assisted surgery. Our economy also thrives from a number of international manufacturing facilities, medical facilities and locally owned businesses.

Newcomers to our area enjoy a wonderful community feel, which includes a great enthusiasm for both school and community kids’ athletics and an unparalleled devotion to our East Carolina Pirates athletic teams. Our city also offers a wide variety of arts entertainment, from events at the Greenville Museum of Art and Emerge and Gray Galleries to local and university theater. There is also a thriving downtown and entertainment vibe perfect for those who enjoy lively nightlife.
