Hillsborough, NC: A Historic Town

Formerly the capital of Colonial North Carolina, Hillsborough, NC is the ever-growing small town standing proud as the county seat of Orange County. It is located alongside the Eno River near the intersection of I-85 and I-40. Hillsborough is rich in history. The downtown historic district boasts more than 100 houses, churches, and buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries.
