Wendell, NC - "Home of Progress and Opportunity"

City convenience and country living combine to give Wendell an easy, comfortable style of life. Located between mountains and the beach in Piedmont (12 miles east of Raleigh), Wendell boasts of its long summers and mild winters.

Since 1903, Wendell has changed from a town encompassing an area one half mile square to two square miles with private and public schools, a library, recreational facilities, a retirement community, and shopping centers. Today Wendell has proven to be the "home of progress and opportunity."
