Welcome to Burlington County, NJ

Burlington County, with its population of roughly 430,000, is New Jersey’s largest. Its 500,000 acres connect the Delaware River to the Atlantic Ocean and are home to the county’s 40 municipalities, including Evesham, Medford, and Moorestown. Because of its proximity to Philadelphia, Burlington County is considered part of the Philly metro area. This makes it especially popular among business professionals, who use such public transportation options as Amtrak, the New Jersey Transit Service, SEPTA, and PATCO to commute to Philly and other major cities for work.

Mount Holly is the seat of Burlington County and has a population of 11,000. The township’s youths are divided between two elementary schools, one middle school, and the Rancocas Valley Regional High School, which are all part of the Mount Holly Township Public School System. Burlington County College, a two-year community college, is also located in Mount Holly. Since 1995, when it was awarded Urban Enterprise Status, the township has experienced an economic renaissance. Many small businesses enjoy tax incentives and a lower sales tax, adding to Mount Holly’s appeal among those looking to relocate.
