Welcome to Madison, NJ

Located in the southwest corner of Morris County, the borough of Madison is a bustling community that combines easy commuter access to New York City's Penn Station with all the charm of living in a college town. Bordered by Drew University, Madison-Florham Park Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, and the college of St. Elizabeth, this community is booming with cultural, historical and educational events and opportunities. Madison also offers an excellent public school system that is consistently rated among the best, in part due to the small class sizes and the broad curriculum. The town enjoys over 100 acres of parks and public spaces; a rich downtown full of unique restaurants and shops; and entertainment venues such as the Playwrights' Theatre of New Jersey and the Museum of Early Trade and Crafts. The Shakespeare Festival of New Jersey is also a popular annual event.
