Welcome to Moorestown, NJ

Moorestown, located in Burlington County, is generally recognized as a suburb of Philadelphia. Its 20,000 residents are divided among a number of residential neighborhoods, including West Moorestown, South Moorestown, East Moorestown, and Downtown Moorestown. Many commute to Philly and other employment centers via the Port Authority Transit Corporation Speedline and the New Jersey transit systems, using stations in the nearby municipalities of Lindenwold and Haddonfield.

Moorestown was ranked by Money magazine as the best place to live in America in 2005, thanks in large part of the prosperity of its residents, its many local amenities, and its excellent schools. The township is home to three public elementary schools and two public middle schools. Its public high school, Moorestown High School, serves more than 1,300 students with state-of-the-art facilities thanks to a recent $12.9 million renovation. It’s no surprise then, that many families with school-age children opt to relocate to Moorestown.
