Great Living in North Caldwell, NJ

Rated among the top 25 best places to live in New Jersey, North Caldwell is a small (just over 7,000 people) town filled with spacious homes shaded by tall trees, and surrounded by beautiful lawns and gardens. Located just west of Manhattan, the town has a rich community life including a swim team whose home base is the town’s Olympic-size pool; a town-wide picnic on Labor Day weekend; newcomers’ night; 4th of July fireworks; and a pancake breakfast each October to benefit the North Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department. In addition, a wide variety of children’s programs enrich the services offered by the borough. North Caldwell is part of the West Essex Regional School System for grade 7 through 12 (there are two elementary schools within the borough). The West Essex Regional High School was among the top 50 best public high schools in the state of NJ.
