Welcome to Mount Sinai, NY

The town of Mount Sinai is located on the north shore of Long Island, New York. This community is mainly a residential area with many newly constructed private communities being added. The Mount Sinai Harbor which is just east of the Port Jefferson harbor and is home to the local beaches and marinas. The northern section of the harbor is more recreational with a section of the area preserved in a Marine Sanctuary. This is the popular location for fishing. The main beach is Cedar beach, which provides and area for swimming and has facilities to host summer recreation programs and a nature study center. The local Mount Sinai Yacht Club is a year round club where the local community can relax and enjoy boating, contests, parties and casual dining.
