Welcome to Dobbs Ferry, New York

Called a typical Hudson River village, Dobbs Ferry, New York is unspoiled by tract homes and shopping malls, retaining its quaint flavor of a small American town. The village offers breathtaking views of the lower Hudson River and the Palisades on the river's western banks. Dobbs Ferry is a lovely mixture of homes and neighborhoods. There are the splendid views of Villard Hill, the picturesque area and winding roads of Riverview Manor, and the stately grandeur of the turn-of-the-century village homes. Serviced by the Hudson Division of Metro-North, the trip to Grand Central in New York is only 34 minutes. Buses run north to Irvington and Tarrytown, south to Hastings, and east to Ardsley, Elmsford and White Plains. There is also a bus to New York City, via the New York Thruway.

Dobbs Ferry maintains Gould Park which has a community pool, Memorial Park, and the Waterfront Park and marina. Numerous teams including baseball, bowling, swimming and tennis are active in the village. There is also an after-school center. The Ardsley Country Club in Dobbs Ferry has a golf course of championship length and quality. Just south of Dobbs Ferry is the St. Andrew's Golf Club of Hastings. The Juhring Estate, a greenbelt, offers 75 acres of undeveloped land for hiking and nature studies.
