Orange and Southern Ulster Counties, NY

The beautiful Hudson River composes the eastern boundary of the county which includes the United States Military Academy at West Point and Stewart International Airport. Orange County offers one the country’s desirable residential locations. With an exceptional transportation infrastructure and an affordable quality of life, Orange County is the fastest growing county in New York State.

The leading cities of Orange County are Newburgh and Middletown. Newburgh is surrounded by the towns of New Windsor, Cornwall, Washingtonville and Montgomery. Middletown is surrounded by Goshen, Chester and Florida. The towns of Monroe, Central Valley and Harriman comprise the southern are of the county.

Southern Ulster County is noted nationwide for its apple-growing and farms as well as a recreations area with Minnewaska State Park and the Shawangunk Mountains which are world famous for their rock-climbing. Southern Ulster County included the towns of Marlboro, Gardiner and New Paltz, which is home to one of our state universities. Hiking, bicycling, canoeing and more is all here in Southern Ulster County, known as the foothills of the Catskill Mountains.
