Welcome to Naperville, IlFall in Naperville sees the opening of its 5th High School, Metea Valley High. The consistently great academic scores and the very well- earned reputation of public education in Naperville, continues to be a great drawer. Indeed one of the many reasons that Naperville is in the Top 10 places to live in the USA is the education offered both public and parochial.
With a population now over 140,000 Naperville is of course a city. But many of us who live here are of the opinion it is a city with a “home-town” feel. Much of this comes from the vibrant downtown. Located by the Riverwalk, the downtown is home to many shops and restaurants. The Riverwalk itself is almost 2 miles long and follows the path of Dupage River through the town.
Naperville is approximately 30 miles west of the City of Chicago with two Metra Train Stations. With trains leaving as early as 4.30 am and arriving back well after midnight, it serves commuters and theater-goes alike. Of course, if you just want to stay in Naperville we have wonderful night- life here too!
