Naples Park, FL is a neighborhood located on the north side of Naples, FL, situated on the Gulf of Mexico. Naples, now considered to be a premier city in southwestern Florida, was founded in the late 19th century by Confederate General John Stuart Williams and Louisville businessman Walter N. Haldeman. The area was quickly advertised as a resort destination, and the name of the growing settlement was inspired by its bay that likened to that of Naples, Italy. The booming city was incorporated in 1923. The neighborhood of Naples Park began in the 50’s as a working class community and was considered remote in its early days; but as the city of Naples grew throughout the 20th century, Naples Park became centrally located and is now desirable to everyone, even the most affluent.

Today Naples Park is home to approximately 7,000 people, and its residents enjoy living in this laid-back beach community within close proximity to all of the world-class amenities that the city of Naples has to offer.
