The sprawling, 436 square mile county of Gwinnett is made up of 13 municipalities, each proudly independent, yet closely intertwined in Gwinnett's rich heritage. The housing supply varies, but a wide range of styles and prices are available. Although a majority of Gwinnett's residents are not located within incorporated municipalities, most are clustered around these major cities in the county: Buford, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Norcross and Snellville.
There are over 200 high-tech companies based in Gwinnett County, many of which came from foreign countries. Industrial growth continues to flow into the county. Drawing more high-tech industry to the county will be the focus of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce's future economic development programs, say chamber officials.
