All the stores are small, independent and family owned. The sense of community and history is as strong as it ever was; it's the type of place where families will live for generations. Wayne Township is made up of a good number of villages and towns making it relatively larger than other townships but still maintains being a mostly rural area with a lot of its inhabitants engaging in grain farming. Cincinnati is just over a half hour away but for those looking to get anywhere in Clermont County, a cart service is offered. Its most popular recreation spot is Stonelick Lake Park is named for the lake which many of the residents adore traveling to and fishing in (bass fishing contests are often being held) but many other family activities are offered as well.
