This city is home to a diverse population of local professionals and those with a passion for culture and the arts.

From its quaint street festivals and specialty shops to its metro Columbus conveniences, Grandview has easily earned its reputation as one of the area's most sought after suburbs. Even world-renowned author Stephen King was spotted here, at a local see-and-be-seen restaurant, following a promotional stop in nearby downtown Columbus.

Athletes and sports buffs won't want to miss the Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic – a two-day bike race with a category for everyone and every age. There's a long list of Parks and Recreation sponsored programs including, men's and women's baseball and softball, a women's golf league, youth football, and summer basketball camps. There are soccer programs, a Fit Kidz program, Little Cat Twirlers & Cheerleaders, street hockey, a youth tennis program, introductory golf and a parent child tournament, a camping series, even Tiny Tot Olympics! Teens have programs, too, including a pool party, dancing, and theme nights. Also offered are adult programs including photography, art & drawing classes, fitness and yoga programs, and adult dance classes. There's card clubs and bingo at the senior center where members also enjoy trips to New York, and dinner theater outings to a nearby Amish community.

Some 40 acres of park land enhance local views with the usual amenities, and outdoor daredevils will appreciate the specialty park for local for skateboarders and in-line skaters. Nearby Darby Creek Metro Park offers seasonal activities, numerous trails for leisurely walks or hiking, and plenty of outdoor education programs like the Amphibian and Reptile Safari. After all of that you may just need a relaxing evening at the municipal swimming pool.

Top it all off with good schools, an active merchants association, and respected local government and you've got a great hometown in Grandview!
