The Town of Lebanon, OH

The historic town of Lebanon, OH is located midway between Cincinnati and Dayton metro areas. The seat of Warren County, Lebanon is best known as home to the Golden Lamb, Ohio’s oldest inn established in 1803 and host to visiting U.S. presidents and renowned authors. Newcomers find Lebanon appealing because of this historic charm and its close proximity to Cincinnati. The downtown area offers antique shops, museums and horse-drawn carriage rides. Homes range from century-old farmhouses to subdivisions featuring new constructions. Located here are five active industrial parks and hundreds of diversified businesses. Five commuter airports are nearby and Warren County Airport is only minutes away. It boasts more than 700 acres of prime industrial and office land for new business development. There’s excellent recreation for its residents, including a scenic railway company, a golf course, a YMCA, county fairgrounds, harness racing and the annual Applefest. Its new $2.7-million, eight-mile bike trail, stretching from Little Miami River north of Loveland into downtown Lebanon, includes a rebuilt 1800s-era railway bridge over the Little Miami River. Its School district: received an “Excellent” rating from the state in 2007. Major employers include Fujitec America, Kroger, Quebecor and Wal-Mart. Lebanon was settled in 1796.
